The Tashkent City Main Internal Affairs Directorate (IIBB) held a meeting with victims regarding the conclusion of a criminal case against officials of Glamour Gold LLC. The press service of the directorate reported this.

According to investigation documents, the Eco Dream residential complex construction project, launched in 2020, turned out to be a fraudulent scheme. A total of 368 citizens deposited 97 billion soums into the company's accounts. The damage caused to 274 victims involved in the investigation amounts to 77 billion soums.

Based on received complaints, the IIBB Investigation Department and the city prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against the company's officials. Victims stated that the company deceived people for years under various pretexts. One victim said: 'We trusted them. First they asked, 'Do you want your house built quickly or with quality?' We agreed on quality. Then they claimed that during excavation a pipe burst and water leaked. Thus five years passed. I paid 100% but still haven't received my apartment.'

Another victim reported starting payments for a one-bedroom apartment in 2021 and paying in installments for 20 months. Despite it now being 2026, there is no trace of either the apartment or the money. Another citizen stated they paid over 460 million soums, but their house remains at the foundation pit stage.

As of March 16, it was found that only 37.4 billion soums of the collected funds were spent on construction, with the rest embezzled. Deputy Interior Minister Ramazon Ashrapov said: 'His lies and deception have been proven, and he is in prison. Even if the material damage is 97 billion, there are also 300 built apartments in reserve. We will see this through to the end.'

To compensate the victims, property belonging to the accused, including real estate and vehicles of the main suspect Dmitriy Kan worth 65 billion 582 million soums, has been seized by court order and will be directed to cover damages.

Dmitriy Kan's son Sergey Kan stated: 'Currently, there is one property in my father's name. Fortunately, a buyer is ready to purchase it. If we are allowed to sell it, we would use the proceeds to compensate the shareholders.'

The criminal case is now in the process of being submitted to court. Tashkent city prosecutor Anvar Urmonov said: 'We have seized property and land and are submitting them to court. The court can put them up for sale and return the money to you. This will take time. Our task is to ensure the rule of law and the inevitability of punishment.'

Charges have been filed against 9 officials of Glamour Gold LLC under relevant articles of the Criminal Code. All defendants have been placed in custody.

Other citizens who have suffered from this company but have not yet filed complaints are requested to contact the Tashkent City IIBB Investigation Department. Their cases will be handled separately, and the investigation will continue.
