Tashkent saw off the first groups of pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rituals for the 2026 season. The ceremonial event took place at the capital's Novza Mosque.

According to the press service of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, preliminary organizational preparations have been made to ensure the safety and comfortable stay of believers in the holy sites. This includes medical support, provision of special informational materials, and coordination of logistics routes.
