In the Buvayda district of Fergana region, the life of a minor girl who threw herself into a canal was saved, the regional Department of Ecology and Climate Change reported.

According to the report, inspectors from the district ecology department were conducting a routine raid when they saw the girl jump into the water from a bridge over the Achchikkol canal.

It was noted that the girl jumped into the canal with the intention of committing suicide. The ecological control inspectors noticed the incident from about 200 meters away, immediately rushed to the scene, and managed to pull her out of the water.

After that, first aid was provided to the girl, and the relevant services and her relatives were notified.
