Officials in the Kosharabad and Kattakurgan district administrations in Samarkand region sent close relatives and unrelated employees on official trips to China, the Anti-Corruption Agency reported.

For a seminar in China for Central Asian farmers, the Kosharabad district hokim's driver M.T. and son D.D. were sent. The delegation list unjustifiably included the hokim's spouse M.Sh. and a relative of another official Ch.H. N.Kh. and M.S. were listed as technical school employees but do not work there.

The Kattakurgan district administration included an employee unrelated to the trip's purposes in a delegation to China. Previously, photos showed the minor son of hokim Jamshid Nasriddinov on the trip.

The administrations concealed information about foreign official trips, violating a presidential decree. Documents have been sent to law enforcement. The agency continues systemic anti-corruption measures.

Earlier in 2025, officials sent children and relatives to a graduation ceremony in St. Petersburg, resulting in 28 million soums recovered and a manager dismissed.
