The mass disconnection of electric charging stations from the power grid and the forced closure of retail outlets at public transport stops in Tashkent have drawn the attention of the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights and Legal Interests of Business Entities. The Business Ombudsman issued an official statement reminding state authorities of the impermissibility of extrajudicial restrictions on property owners' rights.

According to current legislation, any suspension of business activities or restriction on the use of property must be carried out strictly on legal grounds. In most cases, such measures are possible only by court decision. The Business Ombudsman emphasized that inventory checks or urban space regulation cannot justify infringing on business rights and causing material damage without prior notification and time for coordination.

Instances of unjustified power disconnections or demolition of facilities are considered direct violations of state-guaranteed business protections. Currently, the Commissioner's Office is actively investigating complaints received from owners of affected outlets. If the unlawful actions of officials are confirmed, appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken against those responsible within the established authority.

Entrepreneurs who have faced forced business closures or property damage are strongly advised to seek protection of their rights. The Business Ombudsman can be contacted via the short number 1100. The protection of private property remains a priority direction of state policy, and any attempts at administrative pressure on legitimate businesses will be suppressed.

Recall that the Tashkent authorities commented on the situation regarding the disconnection of a number of electric vehicle charging stations. According to the city administration, the measures are related to inventory checks of facilities and verification of their connection to power grids, as well as the need to prevent possible accidents.

The statement followed criticism from Rasul Kusherbayev, advisor to the Chairman of the Ecology Committee, who previously reported a "critical situation" and announced mass disconnections and dismantling of charging stations due to what he described as unfounded orders from the authorities.
