The Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan and Bulgarian representatives have agreed to launch a pilot project for employment in the transport and logistics sector. Specialists' salaries could reach up to 2,500 euros per month.

Cooperation issues were discussed by the head of the Migration Agency, Behzod Musaev, and the Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Chamber of Road Transport Companies (CBRH), Petko Angelov. The parties considered mechanisms for organized employment of Uzbek citizens, personnel training, and interaction with licensed private employment agencies.

The Bulgarian side emphasized the high demand for workers in the transport and logistics industry. This includes mechanics and technical specialists who, after brief adaptation and training in working with diagnostic equipment and electronic systems, can start work. Their wages, depending on qualifications and tasks, could reach 2,500 euros.

The preparation of drivers was separately discussed: to work in Bulgaria, they need to undergo training in accordance with European Union requirements.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop practical cooperation, launch the pilot project, and create special training courses for specialists from Uzbekistan. Interaction with licensed private employment agencies will also be established, which will participate in organizing labor migration and preparing candidates.

It is noted that in Uzbekistan, the search for high-income jobs for citizens abroad within the framework of organized migration has been defined as a priority task.
