A delegation from Uzbekistan, participating in the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) in New York, discussed expanding cooperation in labor migration with US educational, recruiting, and legal organizations. The parties reached agreements on training medical workers and drivers, H-2A visas, and legal protection of migrants.
The delegation included representatives from the Migration Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the US. The forum took place from May 5 to 10 in New York City.
