A zipline in the village of Lashkerek near Angren, where two people collided during a descent, has been found to be illegal. Following an inspection, the attraction was dismantled.

The incident occurred when two riders collided in mid-air, with footage spreading on social media. Preliminary reports suggest one rider got stuck mid-line, and the second approached to help or clear an obstacle. Official confirmation is pending.

Emergency services and relevant authorities arrived promptly. The inspection revealed the zipline operated without necessary permits.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations stated no one was injured. The illegal structure was dismantled, and organizers faced administrative penalties, including fines.

The ministry reminded citizens to exercise caution and avoid using unlicensed attractions.

Earlier, large-scale inspections of amusement rides began in Tashkent parks, prompted by a ride collapse in Andijan's Bogishamol Park. Inspectors are checking equipment and staff readiness.
