Uzbekistan is considering a 30% discount on tuition fees for children of pedagogical workers at state higher education institutions. This was announced in a draft resolution published on the portal of normative legal documents.

According to the document, the benefit will apply only to full-time bachelor's students at state universities. The discount is planned to be applied once per academic year, requiring an annual online application.

The benefit does not cover master's programs, part-time, evening, distance learning, joint programs, or super-contract.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan launched a new initiative aimed at expanding women's access to higher education. Women with work experience can obtain recommendations for admission to state universities, with 500 quotas allocated for this purpose.
