In Tashkent, a driver of a Daewoo Matiz has accumulated fines totaling over 331 million soums for 912 traffic violations. The vehicle was impounded and sent to a penalty parking lot.

According to the 2nd Interdistrict Department of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, the driver had been committing gross traffic violations since April 2024. Despite repeated offenses, he evaded paying fines, causing the debt to grow.

The car was placed on a wanted list and was found on May 15, after which it was taken to the impound lot.

The authorities reminded that compliance with traffic rules is not a formality but a crucial condition for road safety. Ignoring these requirements inevitably leads to serious consequences.

As of May 8, 49 drivers in Uzbekistan had accumulated the maximum 12 penalty points and lost their driving licenses.
