The Uzbekistan national football team suffered a 0-2 defeat against Canada in a friendly match held at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada, as part of their final preparations for the World Cup.

The first half ended goalless. In the 58th minute, Canada's Jonathan Osario opened the scoring with a precise right-footed shot from the center of the penalty area into the bottom right corner. Tani Oluwaseyi provided the assist.

In the 90+1 minute, Jayden Nelson doubled the lead, also with a right-footed strike from the left side of the box into the bottom right corner. Oluwaseyi again assisted.

A Canadian goal in the 80th minute was disallowed due to offside.

Uzbekistan's next friendly match is scheduled for June 8 against the Netherlands in New York.
