Uzbekistan's Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a warning about potential flooding in the country's foothill and mountainous regions due to expected heavy rains from June 6 to 8.

According to the statement, the accumulation of rainwater in these areas could lead to flooding of local territories.

Citizens, vacationers, and drivers, especially those traveling in mountainous areas, are urged to take precautionary measures.

Experts note that rainwater accumulation may cause river and stream levels to rise, and in some places, mudflows could occur.

Residents are advised to stay in safe locations, avoid rivers and streams, and refrain from unnecessary travel.
