A video of a large fire at a gas station in Qarshi has circulated on social media. The Ministry of Emergency Situations commented on the situation.

According to the ministry, on June 8 at 1:50 PM, the Department of Emergency Situations of the Kashkadarya region received a report of an explosion at a liquefied gas filling point for household gas cylinders, located in the Chaman mahalla of the Qarshi district.

Rescue units were immediately dispatched to the scene. Currently, efforts are underway to extinguish the fire that started after the explosion.

Information about the causes of the incident and possible casualties has not yet been provided. Additional details will be released later.
