In Uzbekistan, the average age of first marriage in 2025 was 25.6 years for men and 21.4 years for women. These figures have changed significantly over the past decades.

According to the National Statistics Committee, in the early 2000s men married at an average age of 24, which rose to 25.6 by 2010 and to 26.4 by 2020.

In recent years, the trend has shifted slightly: in 2024 the average age was 26.2, and in 2025 it dropped to 25.6.

For women, the dynamics were more stable. In 2000, the average age of first marriage was 21.4, rising to 22.4 by 2010 and 22.5 by 2015. In 2020, it fell to 22.3, and in 2024 to 21.8. In 2025, it returned to the level of the early 2000s—21.4 years.

Earlier, cases of late fatherhood were recorded in Uzbekistan: according to the National Statistics Committee, in 2025, 48 men became fathers at the age of over 70.
