The first deputy mayor of Qarshi city, Nurbek Turdiev, has been brought to administrative responsibility. This was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate.

According to the Labor Inspectorate, the fact of forced labor was confirmed. An administrative fine was imposed on the official under Article 51 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Administrative Coercion to Labor). The amount of the fine has not been disclosed.

Additionally, due to insulting behavior towards employees, materials about his actions have been sent to the administration of the Kashkadarya region for consideration by the Ethics Commission.

Earlier, the deputy mayor of Sariosiyo district in Surkhandarya region for women's affairs, Dilfuza Toshmotova, was also fined for forced labor.
