In May, housing prices in Tashkent moved in different directions depending on the segment. According to an analysis by the Institute for Economic and Regional Studies, on the secondary market, prices for 1-, 2-, and 3-room apartments increased, while 4-room and larger apartments became cheaper.

On the primary market, 1-room apartments rose by 1.1% compared to April, and 3-room apartments by 2.7%. Meanwhile, 2-room apartments fell by 1.1%, and 4-room and larger apartments decreased by 1.5%.

On the secondary market, the largest increase was recorded for 1-room apartments, with prices rising by 5.8% over the month. Two-room apartments rose by 0.6%, and 3-room apartments by 0.5%. Prices for 4-room and larger apartments dropped by 0.4%.

By district, Mirabad, Yakkasaray, and Mirzo-Ulugbek were noted as having the most expensive housing. Sergeli, Uchtepa, and Almazar districts offered relatively affordable housing.

The analysis indicates that demand for small and medium-sized apartments remains high in the capital's housing market, continuing to influence price increases in some segments.
