A unified digital management system for cities and districts, based on modern technologies, is being deployed in the Namangan region. The main task of the new tool is to collect and analyze all important processes in the region in real time to coordinate the work of services and help authorities make decisions faster.
This became known during a visit by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the new regional "smart" situation center in Namangan. During the visit, the head of state was presented with the first results of digital transformation, which will also reach the level of mahallas (neighborhoods).
In particular, a pilot information and service center is being created in the Yangi Namangan mahalla of the Naryn district. Through it, more than 27,000 local residents will be able to receive 980 types of services on a "single window" principle, while data on social protection, employment, security and education will be combined into a single digital system.
New technologies are also being actively introduced into the region's law enforcement system. During the presentation, the president was informed that 18 main work processes related to crime prevention have already been transferred to electronic format and embedded in inspectors' tablets. The employees themselves were equipped with modern body cameras, and all their current activities were fully synchronized with the situation center for operational control of security on the ground.
This experience of in-depth digital analysis is planned to be scaled up to the entire republic. To find new growth points and introduce a scientific approach to territorial management, 14 analytical and research centers of the country will switch to a new format of work based on the Namangan model. They will study economic reserves, diagnose cities, and identify hidden potential in the regions.
