Uzbekistan is set to launch a new initiative called '1000 Problems – 1000 Solutions from Youth', aimed at engaging young people in solving pressing issues faced by ministries, agencies, and regions. The project seeks to harness the innovative potential of the country's youth.

Under the project, each minister, industry head, and regional governor (hokim) will publish current problems of their departments on an open platform and offer rewards for the best solutions. This is intended to create a direct channel for youth contributions to governance.

To fund the initiative, each minister and governor will establish a venture fund of at least 10 billion soums. These funds will be used to award winners and finance the top 20 startups, from concept to implementation.

Additionally, the Youth Affairs Agency will select 100 best projects in business, information technology, and creative economy, investing up to 1 billion soums in each. The government hopes this will significantly boost youth entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.
