Three new modern four-car electric trains have been delivered to the Tashkent Metro, according to the capital's subway authority.

The new trains are equipped with air conditioning systems for hot weather and heating for winter operation.

The introduction of these trains is expected to reduce headways, improve passenger service quality, and continue the phased replacement of older rolling stock with modern electric trains.

Additionally, the increase in the number of new trains should boost the metro's capacity, ensure more stable schedule adherence, and improve service for the growing passenger flow.

By the end of this year, another 11 modern electric trains are planned to be delivered to the Tashkent Metro. Their phased commissioning is expected to contribute to further development of metro infrastructure and improvement of transport services.
