A 38-year-old Uzbek national, a native of Samarkand region, has been extradited from Poland to Uzbekistan. The man was wanted internationally on a Red Notice from Interpol on charges of fraud.

He was detained in Warsaw and brought to Tashkent escorted by officers of the National Central Bureau of Interpol under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The extradition was made possible through joint efforts of the Uzbek embassy in Poland, the Polish Ministry of Justice, and the Uzbek Interpol bureau.

The diplomatic mission noted that the operation is a result of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries and systematic work to return persons wanted internationally.

Earlier, three men accused of fraud and human trafficking were delivered to Tashkent from the United Arab Emirates via Interpol.
