Uzbekistan's meteorological service has issued a warning for July 19, forecasting extreme heat and strong winds across the country. Wind speeds are expected to range from 7–12 m/s, with gusts reaching 13–18 m/s in some areas and up to 20–22 m/s in certain regions, accompanied by dust storms.
Air temperatures will soar to +40…+45°C nationwide, with southern and desert areas reaching +46…+48°C. The capital Tashkent will also experience dry and scorching weather, with winds of 3–8 m/s, gusting to 12–15 m/s, and possible dust haze. Temperatures in the city are forecast to climb to +43…+45°C.
In mountainous regions, no precipitation is expected. Winds will be 7–12 m/s, with gusts up to 13–18 m/s, and temperatures ranging from +32…+37°C.
Meteorologists urge residents to take precautions, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and exercise extra caution on roads due to reduced visibility from dust and strong winds.
