Uzbekistan's Migration Agency has announced an agreement to place Uzbek nationals in high-level positions at state and private clinics in the Czech Republic.

The cooperation is the practical phase of negotiations launched during Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš's visit to Uzbekistan. Direct talks were held between Migration Agency head Behzod Musayev, Uzbek embassy officials in the Czech Republic, and Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtěch.

Under the deal, starting in September, issues such as language and vocational training for candidates, development of dual education programs, and simplification of diploma and qualification recognition processes will be addressed.

In late April, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš also discussed prospects for cooperation in organized labor migration during talks in Tashkent.
