Uzbekistan will establish a joint assembly production for Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) trucks.

The agreement between the management company of the "Belavtomaz" holding, JSC "MAZ", and UzBelMotors was signed by company heads Valery Ivankovich and Sherzod Talipov.

The document provides for the development of industrial cooperation, expansion of production localization, and strengthening of partnership ties between the two countries.

The establishment of the joint venture will enable the launch of equipment production in Uzbekistan and create new jobs.

The document was signed during an official visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Uzbekistan led by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin.
