Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. The Open Budget platform has announced the results of the second season of the 'Initiative Budget' program for 2026. According to the voting results, 2,195 projects emerged as winners, and 3.15 trillion soums will be allocated from the state budget for their implementation.
In total, residents of the country cast 10.124 million votes for the proposed initiatives. The winners include 2,059 projects from the main competition and 136 partner projects.
Most initiatives are aimed at solving everyday problems of residents — repairing and asphalting internal roads, improving territories, and developing social infrastructure.
In particular, in the Chirakchi district of the Kashkadarya region, several projects for repairing internal roads each received more than 20,000 votes and received funding of about 1.65 billion soums.

Earlier, the Ministry of Economy and Finance warned about fraudsters who offered citizens monetary rewards for voting on Open Budget via social media. The ministry urged people not to share personal data with unknown individuals and not to trust such offers.
