The public transport fleet in the Qashqadaryo region continues to be modernized. According to the Ministry of Transport, another 12 Zhongtong-branded buses have been delivered from China to the region.
The buses were purchased by Bazarcha LLC, a company engaged in passenger transportation in Qashqadaryo. It is noted that the new vehicles will be deployed on inner-city routes of Qarshi under a gross contract in the coming days.
With this delivery, the number of new buses brought to Qashqadaryo since the beginning of this year has reached 56. In 2025, the region is planned to receive 62 modern buses, and a large part of this plan has already been fulfilled.
Zhongtong buses are manufactured by Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd., based in Shandong Province, China. This brand has become increasingly common in Uzbekistan in recent years.
Earlier, in July, 38 modern AsiaStar buses were delivered from China to Qarshi. They are expected to be put into service on two new routes operating under gross contracts.
