The city of Margilan will host the 7th International Traditional Textile Festival 'Atlas Bayrami' from September 12 to 19. The event has been held annually since 2015 and has become a platform for preserving and developing textile craftsmanship traditions, passing them from generation to generation, and integrating heritage into modern creative industries.

The main festival program is scheduled for September 17-19, with masters, designers, textile industry experts, researchers, and cultural figures from various countries participating. The first days, September 12-16, will feature events aimed at developing professional skills.

This year's program includes exhibitions, master classes, fashion shows, and business meetings at the 'Vodiy Gavhari' tourist complex, the Margilan Craft Development Center, and the Margilan History Museum.

On September 17, the opening ceremony will take place. A fashion show will be held at the 'Vodiy Gavhari' complex as part of the mentoring program on innovative design. Participants will present the results of a joint UNESCO and European Union project on developing skills that demonstrate the fusion of traditional techniques and modern design.

Additionally, on September 17-18, a conference titled 'Traditional Textiles as an Important Segment of the Creative Industry' will be held. The festival will continue with various events, exhibitions, and meetings on September 18-19.
