Today, at a meeting with teachers and mentors, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced new benefits and support measures. These initiatives are aimed at incentivizing teachers' work and improving their qualifications.

In particular, teachers with a national certificate will receive an additional 50% salary bonus. This decision is intended to encourage professional development and provide material incentives.

Annually, leading teachers from 208 districts and cities will receive a separate bonus of 30 million soums. This is expected to further motivate teachers.

Furthermore, each year, another 1,000 teachers will be sent for internships to countries such as the UK, France, and Singapore. The president noted that this experience will help raise teachers' knowledge and skills to an international level.

In his speech, the president also touched upon the topic of youth studying abroad: “I receive letters. Many studied abroad on a presidential scholarship. I see Ismoilova here now. I receive many letters, I read them. When abroad they ask a child from a family of an ordinary farmer or a simple person: ‘Is your father a billionaire, a millionaire?’ — and he answers: ‘No, my father is an ordinary worker,’ they don't believe him. Why? They ask: ‘Where do you get so much money [for education]?’ When they are told that the state covers the expenses, they also don't believe it. Because they don't have such a system where the state pays for such expenses,” the president said.

In addition, children of teachers with at least 15 years of work experience will be provided with interest-free loans to pay for university tuition contracts. This measure is aimed at supporting teachers' families.

The president expressed confidence that these initiatives will become a worthy incentive for nearly 100,000 teachers. These steps are an important contribution to the development of the education system and enhancing the prestige of the teaching profession.
