The trilateral tactical exercise "Strength in Unity – 2026," involving armed forces personnel from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, has officially concluded. The completion of the joint military operations was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The closing ceremony commenced with the performance of the national anthems of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan by a military orchestra. Military officials addressing the ceremony emphasized that the joint training played a pivotal role in facilitating the exchange of practical combat experience, enhancing field coordination, and strengthening cooperative ties among the participating militaries.
Throughout the drill, troops carried out tactical missions across challenging terrains under simulations closely mimicking real combat engagements. Defense officials highlighted that the personnel displayed a high degree of technical professionalism, operational synergy, and agility while neutralizing simulated threats and completing all designated tactical assignments.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of awards and recognition gifts to servicemen who distinguished themselves during the maneuvers. The joint operations, which commenced on September 22, were conducted across multiple facilities, including the "Gizilgaya" center in the Karabakh economic region, the "Garabaglar" center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the "Boyuk Zira" polygon in the Caspian Sea basin.
