The Agency for External Labor Migration, in cooperation with the German transport company Deutsche Bahn, has announced a new educational initiative targeting young citizens of Uzbekistan. Applicants are being invited to participate in a three-year dual vocational training program (Ausbildung) to qualify as railway track fitters.

The program allegedly combines theoretical coursework with practical on-site training across various railway construction locations in Germany. According to the German enterprise, participants will work directly with maintenance teams, laying new tracks and switches, inspecting infrastructure, and replacing damaged components to gain hands-on experience alongside classroom instruction. The training locations are set in the Bavarian cities of Augsburg and Munich.

Successful candidates will supposedly receive a monthly stipend throughout the training period and are entitled to 30 days of paid annual leave. Furthermore, German-language courses financed by Deutsche Bahn will be organized in Tashkent to help candidates achieve a B2 language proficiency level. The educational program is scheduled to commence on September 1, 2027, with participants slated to travel to Germany in the summer of that same year.

The initiative is open to candidates aged 18 to 25 who meet specific selection criteria. Additional technical background, practical skills, and a category B driver's license are purportedly considered advantages, though not strictly mandatory. Applicants are required to submit their school certificates and academic transcripts, alongside any higher or secondary specialized education diplomas they may hold.
