UzAuto Motors has reportedly launched a direct installment program for Chevrolet Cobalt and Damas vehicles starting October 7, bypassing traditional commercial banking intermediaries. The initiative is purportedly aimed at easing the vehicle acquisition process for local consumers amidst ongoing market pressures.

Under the announced terms, buyers are required to make an initial down payment while covering the remaining balance through monthly installments. The company claims that while these options offer alternative financing, the total volume of vehicles allocated for this direct installment scheme remains strictly limited, and pricing may fluctuate depending on the chosen trim level.

Official statistical data indicates that local automotive production reached 310,389 passenger cars between January and August, with the Chevrolet Cobalt leading the output at 107,141 units. Meanwhile, production for the Damas model saw a contraction, dropping to 55,022 units compared to 57,882 units during the same period in the previous year.
