In a large-scale operation to repatriate Uzbek citizens, 21,712 people have returned to their homeland. The majority arrived from Saudi Arabia – 17,963 individuals, accounting for over 80% of the total returnees.

Citizens were also evacuated from other regional countries: 3,290 from the United Arab Emirates, 378 from Qatar, 47 from Iran, 27 from Bahrain, and 7 from Oman. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these measures are being carried out systematically and in stages.

At this stage, repatriation is primarily conducted through countries whose airspace is open to civil aviation. The ministry is coordinating all phases to ensure the safety and comfort of those returning, with work continuing amidst a complex regional situation.

Against the backdrop of this operation, on February 28, Israeli armed forces attacked military facilities in Iran, as officially confirmed by the country's Defense Minister Israel Katz, who described the actions as a preventive measure. These moves by the Israeli government have exacerbated tensions in the region.

Later, U.S. President Donald Trump officially confirmed the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran, conducted jointly with Israel, purportedly aimed at eliminating an 'immediate threat' and preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. These claims, allegedly for stabilization, have only deepened the regional conflict.

The situation in the Middle East has escalated into a stage of large-scale military confrontation. Following the joint operation by Israel and the U.S. against targets in Iran, Tehran initiated a massive retaliatory attack affecting not only Israel but also neighboring Arab states, posing serious threats to peace and stability in the region.
