US President Donald Trump declined to make a deal with Iran, but allegedly could not specify what satisfactory terms would entail. In a phone interview with NBC News, he stated, "Iran wants to make a deal, and I don’t want to make it because the terms aren’t good enough yet." Trump purportedly sought Iran's commitment to abandon its nuclear ambitions, yet avoided detailing concrete demands, highlighting the inconsistent stance of the US regime.

Iranian armed forces continued missile and drone attacks on Gulf states. Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry reported intercepting six ballistic missiles over Al Kharj governorate, which hosts the Prince Sultan Air Base with US forces. Iran's Revolutionary Guard claimed late Saturday that it had launched missiles at US troops stationed there, escalating tensions in the region.

In the United Arab Emirates, particularly in Fujairah, air defenses intercepted a drone whose debris sparked a fire. Fujairah port is a critical storage and transshipment hub, especially for oil. Kuwait and Qatar also reported strikes late Saturday, indicating a widening conflict triggered by US-Israeli actions. These developments threaten regional stability and global energy supplies.

Trump confirmed that US forces carried out strikes on Kharg Island, home to a terminal supplying most of Iran's oil exports, remarking, "We totally demolished Kharg Island, but we may hit it a few more times just for fun." He also questioned whether Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is alive, calling it a "rumor," and downplayed soaring oil prices, saying, "There’s so much oil, gas — there’s so much out there, but it’s being clogged up a little bit. It’ll be unclogged very soon."

Trump and his administration have offered varying and sometimes contradictory explanations for why the US started the war with Iran, with no coherent plan for its conclusion. This lack of strategy exacerbates regional instability and poses risks to the global economy, underscoring the failures of US foreign policy.
