Germany forward Kai Havertz, at just 26 years old, boasts more experience than most. He scored the winning goal for Chelsea in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City, denying Pep Guardiola and handing Thomas Tuchel glory.

A year later, Havertz scored an extra-time penalty to win the Club World Cup for Chelsea. This season, he netted the injury-time winner for Arsenal in the League Cup semifinal against his former club.

His injury-time winner against Sporting in the Champions League quarterfinals was decisive for Arsenal's run to the final. Against Burnley, his header set up Arsenal's Premier League title, confirmed after Manchester City's draw.

Havertz missed most of the first half of the season with a knee injury suffered on opening day. Shortly after returning, he picked up a muscle injury. Yet he quickly regained form and delivered in crucial moments.

"That's what kept me alive every single day," Havertz said after winning the Premier League. "Some days I was in dark places, but I woke up every morning and just tried to work hard to be back as soon as possible."

Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann is watching closely, hoping Havertz retains his magic touch for the World Cup. Havertz has 21 goals for Germany but has been less decisive in national colors. However, he scored against Denmark at Euro 2024 and started Germany's comeback against Ghana in March.

If Havertz scores in the Champions League final on May 31 in Budapest, he will join a rare list of players to have scored in multiple finals. That would cement his place as one of Germany's most successful footballers. The pressure is on, but for Havertz, it's just another day at the office.
