Iranian media have disclosed a 14-point draft agreement with the United States that could serve as the basis for new negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

According to Mehr news agency, the draft includes a ceasefire, lifting of the naval blockade, reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days, and withdrawal of US troops from around the country.

On the economic front, Tehran seeks suspension of restrictions on oil and petrochemical sales, access to export revenues, and an economic recovery plan worth at least $300 billion. The draft also mentions unfreezing $24 billion in Iranian funds, half of which Iran wants before talks begin.

The nuclear component is proposed to be discussed within 60 days. Iran reportedly reaffirms it has no intention of developing nuclear weapons but demands that its missile program and support for "resistance groups" be excluded from negotiations. Preliminary reports indicate the final document has not yet been fully approved.

Earlier, it was reported that Donald Trump canceled planned strikes on Iran amid preparations for an interim agreement between Washington and Tehran.
