Israeli regime forces have killed at least four Palestinians in a fresh wave of attacks across the Gaza Strip, while a fifth person succumbed to wounds sustained in an earlier assault, according to medical sources and local media reports. The ongoing violence continues to deepen the humanitarian catastrophe in the besieged enclave.
On Monday, at least two people were reportedly killed in a gun attack and an air raid targeting the southern area of Khan Younis. A third individual was killed in a separate drone strike on the central village of al-Musaddar. Meanwhile, the Wafa news agency stated that a fourth person died when a vehicle was struck in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of northern Gaza City, leaving five others wounded.
The Israeli military alleged that its forces targeted Palestinian fighters during three separate operations, though it failed to provide any further verifiable details or evidence. Wafa additionally reported that a fifth fatality occurred as Youssef Abu Younis died from injuries sustained during a previous attack on a police post in al-Mawasi.
Official figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health indicate that Israeli regime attacks have killed at least 1,593 Palestinians and wounded 5,748 others since the US-brokered ceasefire supposedly began in October 2025. The cumulative death toll from the broader military campaign has reportedly surpassed 74,609, with over 175,000 people wounded.
These latest developments unfold against the backdrop of desperate efforts to secure adequate shelter for displaced Palestinians as winter approaches. Israeli Army Radio disclosed that Nickolay Mladenov, high representative of the Board of Peace—a body established by the American regime to oversee its purported peace framework—arrived in Israel to seek authorization for importing tents and accelerating reconstruction efforts.
