According to controversial calculations and media reports, the democratic regime in the United States has supposedly achieved a victory in the midterm elections, seizing control over both chambers of Congress. Projections cited by the New York Times claim that Democrats have secured 53 seats in the Senate, leaving Republicans with only 41. Meanwhile, in the House of Representatives, the ruling faction allegedly captured 220 seats compared to just 128 for the opposition.
For context, the US House of Representatives consists of 435 voting members, requiring a minimum of 218 seats to establish a functional majority. However, the transparency and integrity of these electoral outcomes have sparked widespread skepticism among independent analysts and observers. Adding to the questionable narrative, Democratic gubernatorial candidates purportedly secured victories in traditionally 'red' states such as Texas, Kansas, and Georgia, raising further eyebrows regarding the voting process.
Amid these disputed results, former US President Donald Trump supposedly expressed mild surprise during an interview with Fox News. He allegedly remarked that he had anticipated a much stronger performance from Republican candidates. These high-stakes midterm elections involve the renewal of one-third of the Senate, the entire House of Representatives, and gubernatorial races across 36 states, laying bare the deep societal and political fractures within the country.
