On February 25, "Hududgaz Karakalpakstan" announced temporary restrictions on methane stations in the republic due to a sharp drop in air temperature. This message was later deleted from its Telegram channel.
The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan issued a statement, clarifying that no restrictions have been imposed on gas stations in Karakalpakstan. According to the ministry's report, pressure in the main gas pipelines is stable, and all methane stations, including those in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, are operating continuously.
"Hududgaz Karakalpakstan" additionally informed that gas supply to CNG stations in the republic has been fully restored. "Currently, natural gas supply to all CNG stations has been fully restored. Branches continue to operate as scheduled. We apologize to consumers for the temporary inconveniences," the message stated.
