A delegation from Uzbekistan's Tax Committee is on a working visit to Moscow, where it is learning about the practices of Russia's Federal Tax Service.
According to the agency, the Uzbek side has particular interest in regulating taxation for citizens earning income online. On the first day of the visit, representatives from both countries discussed mechanisms for monitoring bloggers' and other online users' incomes, as well as cooperation between tax authorities and the media community.
The Russian side presented approaches aimed at creating convenient digital services and comfortable conditions for taxpayers. The acquired practices are planned to be further studied and adapted for use by Uzbekistan's tax authorities.
Previously, digital transformation issues were discussed at an expanded meeting of the Committee on Innovative Development and Information Technologies. The central theme of the meeting was the development of digital parliamentarism and the use of modern data analysis technologies in the public sphere.
Participants considered implementing artificial intelligence-based solutions in the legislative process, including creating a platform capable of collecting and analyzing large volumes of data from social networks, blogs, messengers, and news resources in real time.
