Nodira Mansurova, born in Uzbekistan, has been appointed as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) Regional Director for Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. She will assume her new role on September 1, 2026, and will be based in Bishkek.

Mansurova began her career at the EBRD in 2001. Since then, she has held various positions at the bank's headquarters in London, as well as in its offices in Egypt, Jordan, and Uzbekistan.

Previously, she served as the EBRD's Regional Director for Small and Medium Enterprise Finance and Development in Central Asia, working from Almaty. In 2021, she was appointed as the EBRD's Director for Tunisia.

Mansurova was born in Uzbekistan and is a British citizen. She graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Uzbekistan and the Fergana Polytechnic Institute.

To date, only two women from Uzbekistan have held senior leadership positions at the EBRD. In addition to Mansurova, Kamola Makhmudova, who passed away in September 2024, led the EBRD's office in Azerbaijan.
