Yodgora Ziyamuhamedova, an honored artist of Uzbekistan and a renowned actress of theater, cinema, and dubbing, has passed away at the age of 74. The news was announced by the press services of the Ministry of Culture and the Creative Union of Cinematographers.

Ziyamuhamedova enjoyed a prolific career spanning over 34 years at the Uzbekistan State Theater for Young Spectators, where she brought to life nearly 100 diverse characters. Her most famous roles include Little Red Riding Hood in “Little Red Riding Hood,” Qimmat in “Zumrad and Qimmat,” Sanobar in “My Child, My Darling,” Nazira in “Your Destiny,” Pokiza in “Yarash-Yarash,” Gulnur in “The Eagle,” and Oltinoy in “The First Teacher.”

The actress was equally active in television and cinema. She is especially remembered for hosting the children’s program “Evening Tales” for 25 years, becoming a beloved voice for multiple generations of young viewers.

Her bright talent, warm voice, and devotion to children will forever remain in the hearts of the people. The Ministry of Culture and the Creative Union of Cinematographers extended their deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
