The Asian Weightlifting Championships concluded in Gandhinagar, India, with Uzbek athletes securing a full set of medals.

On the final day of competition, Amir Abdullayev, competing in the over 110 kg category, lifted 189 kg in the snatch to win a silver medal.

Overall, the Uzbek team, represented by six athletes, won one gold, four silver, and one bronze medal.

Earlier, at the Junior World Championships in Egypt, Uzbek weightlifters had won one silver and three bronze medals.
