The Migration Agency of Uzbekistan has repatriated three citizens who found themselves in difficult situations in Kazakhstan, Latvia, and Russia, according to the agency's press service. The group includes a 17-year-old girl, a man who suffered a stroke in Latvia, and another citizen who fell into hardship in Russia.

The 17-year-old girl was traveling to Russia by road through Kazakhstan when she was involved in a traffic accident in the Atyrau region. She sustained severe injuries, including a fracture of the fifth cervical vertebra and spinal cord dysfunction. After undergoing two surgeries, she was brought back to Uzbekistan under intensive care by specialists from the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid. Her condition is currently reported as satisfactory.

Another citizen, who had gone to Latvia independently for work, was not provided with a guaranteed job and suffered a stroke due to intense psychological pressure. After treatment, he was allowed to return to Uzbekistan under medical supervision.

The third citizen, who encountered difficulties in Russia, was also repatriated under the care of doctors assigned by the Ministry of Health. No further details about his condition or the circumstances leading to his repatriation have been disclosed.

The Migration Agency urged citizens to travel abroad for work only through safe, legal, and guaranteed channels. The agency stated that it continues to provide necessary assistance to Uzbek citizens who find themselves in difficult situations abroad.
