Inspections in the Tashkent region have uncovered cases of illegal use of natural gas at three auto gas filling compressor stations. According to preliminary data, total damage amounts to over 5.6 billion UZS.

During a control measure conducted by the General Prosecutor's Office headquarters in the Yangiyul district, interference with the operation of a gas meter was detected at one station. As a result, gas worth 1.908 billion UZS was illegally used.

A similar violation was found at another filling station in the same district, where illegally used gas amounted to 1.898 billion UZS.

Another case was identified in the Bekabad district, where tampering with seals on metering equipment was discovered at a methane filling station. The damage is estimated at 1.876 billion UZS.

Currently, investigations are underway for all cases, circumstances are being established, and measures are being taken in accordance with the law.

Earlier, entrepreneurs were advised not to build new methane filling stations in Uzbekistan.
