Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. A railway worker from the joint-stock company 'Uzbekistan Temir Yollari', Azam Ibragimov, saved two girls who were being swept away by the strong current of the Karasu canal in the Sergeli district of the capital.
The incident occurred on June 9 while the railway worker was performing his official duties. Working near the waterway, the man noticed two children in the canal, helplessly carried away by the water flow. Hearing their cries for help, the employee immediately jumped into the water and managed to safely pull the girls out of the danger zone.
For his courage, promptness, and dedication, the management of 'Uzbekistan Temir Yollari' rewarded the hero. Azam Ibragimov was presented with a letter of gratitude, a commemorative gift, and a cash bonus in a ceremonial atmosphere.
