Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Podrobno.uz. The volume of mining and quarrying in Uzbekistan has reached 34.7 trillion soums.

According to the Statistics Agency, in January–May 2026, the manufacturing sector accounted for the largest share of industrial production, with a volume of 436.2 trillion soums.

The breakdown by sector is as follows: manufacturing – 86.2% (436.2 trillion soums), mining and quarrying – 6.9% (34.7 trillion soums), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – 6.4% (32.4 trillion soums), and water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal – 0.5% (2.7 trillion soums).
