An auction for the right to organize surface car parks under a public-private partnership has concluded in Tashkent, the city administration's press service reported.

The starting price of the lot was 1.3 billion soums. During the bidding, the price was raised 293 times, reaching 20.9 billion soums (approximately $1.7 million), nearly 16 times the initial value.

The winner of the auction was the foreign enterprise LLC ANGLESEY FOOD, which operates the Korzinka supermarket chain.

It was noted that the amount offered by the investor is a one-time payment. In the future, annual rent and contributions to the Tashkent City Development Fund will be added.
