Renovation work has begun on a section of Katartal Street in Tashkent's Chilanzar district, aiming to turn it into a modern tourist-oriented space. The district administration's press service announced the initiative.

District governor Saidkakhkhor Kholkhuzhaev inspected the construction and repair progress, emphasizing quality and compliance with urban planning standards and the new design code.

The project prioritizes creating comfortable conditions for residents and visitors alike.

Last September, it was reported that 10.2 billion soums would be allocated for the improvement of Katartal tourist street.
