Uzbekistan's State Security Service announced the arrest of individuals in Tashkent who allegedly promised to illegally prepare entry visas for foreign citizens.

According to the report, a 41-year-old resident of Tashkent was caught red-handed while receiving $31,200 from three foreigners for arranging entry visas through his contacts.

During the investigation, it was established that the suspect was to keep $4,200 for himself and pass the remaining $27,000 to another individual, a 66-year-old man.

In a subsequent operation, the second suspect was also detained while receiving the $27,000.

A criminal case has been opened against both individuals, and investigative actions are underway.
