Today, October 12, natural gas supply was temporarily suspended in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent due to ongoing engineering works involving the relocation of an underground high-pressure gas pipeline. According to local reports, the technical interventions are scheduled to last from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The press service of the 'Hududgaz Poytaxt' branch stated that the temporary shutdown directly affected residential areas, leaving 150 households in the 'Obod' mahalla and 515 apartments in the 'Posira' mahalla without standard utility services.
Furthermore, the disruption impacted several commercial and social infrastructure facilities. Specifically, gas-filling compressor stations including Edem, Dream Gaz, and Triumph Orientir, alongside a local orphanage and 35 wholesale consumers, found themselves temporarily disconnected from the supply network.
Utility authorities indicated that natural gas service will be resumed gradually once all technical procedures and safety checks are successfully completed. The company offered standard apologies to the affected residents and businesses for the temporary inconveniences caused by the maintenance operations.
