Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) denied a claim by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that it struck Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office. Spokesperson Anna Ukolova stated: "The IRGC is known for issuing statements that do not correspond to reality and cynically using media to spread their imagination."
She confirmed that Israel detected rocket launches from Iran, with air raid sirens activated in some areas and interceptors deployed. "There are currently no reports of casualties or damage. The purpose of the launches is unknown; we only know the result," Ukolova added.
According to media reports, a rocket fell in the southern city of Be'er Sheva, with the blast wave damaging residential buildings and injuring 10 people. The Magen David Adom emergency service said a 35-year-old man sustained moderate injuries, while the other nine had minor wounds.
Recall that on the morning of February 28, Israeli and U.S. forces began a military operation against Iran, with explosions reported in Tehran, Isfahan, Karaj, and Kermanshah province. In response, Iran attacked U.S. bases in the Middle East and Israel itself using rockets and drones.
